Welcome! We are a Christian family who cares for elderly individuals in our home. There are so many quotes, stories, and photos that we wanted to share with our precious "Golden Girls'" families, which they could view quicker and could be updated easier on this blog than we would ever have time (and memory!) to share with them personally. We also thought others might enjoy reading and viewing along with the families on this great adventure of their loved ones' golden sunset years. So sit back, relax, and enjoy your visit with us and "The Grandmas"!

Picture Perfect...

We recently had our annual family pictures taken...and this year we got all fancy and had a professional photographer shoot us {with the camera of course}. We certainly had a blast and can't wait to share some with you all here. But as we await the well-done, perfectly-lit, charmingly-posed {and of course greatly edited :)} portraits, I will here share the "after-our-cheeks-couldn't-smile-any-longer-and-tummys-started-to-growl", quite unprofessional and non-posed, though lovely in every way simply because of the sweet ones smiling in them. So without any further ado... our dinner out to Texas Land & Cattle, a delightfully scrumptious gift from Mr. Vic and Mrs. Linda.

Decisions...decisions

She's intense, focused...which steak is juiciest?

"Look over there...Dad's trying to get a shot of us."

Just missing Grandma "D"'s sweet face

Can you guess what our family portrait color-scheme is this year?? Bet you can't...☺
