Welcome! We are a Christian family who cares for elderly individuals in our home. There are so many quotes, stories, and photos that we wanted to share with our precious "Golden Girls'" families, which they could view quicker and could be updated easier on this blog than we would ever have time (and memory!) to share with them personally. We also thought others might enjoy reading and viewing along with the families on this great adventure of their loved ones' golden sunset years. So sit back, relax, and enjoy your visit with us and "The Grandmas"!

Fellowship

We were so honored to have some wonderful families from church over for dinner and fellowship this past week.

First we had the T. family over, enjoying such sweet conversations with their girls, Joanna and Rebecca, who happen to be Vanessa and my ages (20 & 17, respectively) and Mr. T. and Mrs. T. were so much fun as well, Johanna loved playing balloon toss with them *wink*!

The beautiful ladies, Joanna, Rebecca and Mrs. T.

Johanna and Mr. T. pausing their fun game to smile for us.

Dad and the fireplace {or do I have that backwards?}... love you!

Thank you so much for making the long drive up to visit with us T. family! It was so good getting to know you all better.

Then we had the H. family over with their six awesome kids! What fun it was to be with this family, to laugh with, play with, and learn from.

The "kid corner"...I almost had a smile from everyone...Noah? Well, let's give him some credit for at least saying "Cheese!"

Little miss curly-q, Leah darling explaining her baby-doll, while sweet Miss Sammy-Jo works hard in the background to clean up after the boys.

And of course, in the spirit and style of true, rough 'n tough manliness, we have Mr. Noah sporting the goggles and drill {quite nicely I might add}.

So glad you all could make it on such short notice! We had so much fun and can't wait to do it again {oh, and I look forward to reading your books soon, Ryan and Tucker}!

...but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light,
we have fellowship with one another, and the blood
of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin...
