Welcome! We are a Christian family who cares for elderly individuals in our home. There are so many quotes, stories, and photos that we wanted to share with our precious "Golden Girls'" families, which they could view quicker and could be updated easier on this blog than we would ever have time (and memory!) to share with them personally. We also thought others might enjoy reading and viewing along with the families on this great adventure of their loved ones' golden sunset years. So sit back, relax, and enjoy your visit with us and "The Grandmas"!

A Gathering

On the last day of June we had a big get-together with most of our Grandmas' families. We enjoyed having Mrs. Joy and her brother, Mr. Peter, join us. They also have group homes in the area and care for the elderly.

June in bloom

Hello friends! It's been a long time (per usual). What have you been up to? June flew by (as did July and August...oops ;), so I don't really know where to begin...visitors, sunshine, activities, birthdays... God is good and all's right with the world!

We always enjoy our visits with Ms. Connie!

Johanna has really been enjoying these summer art lessons

Miss Ariella working on her van Gogh

Mr. Israel doing some fancy brush-strokes

Miss Isabella looking focused

Grandma Margarete has enjoyed browsing through old family photos...

...and being silly :)

We got to meet Mrs. Debbie, another of Grandma Glenys' lovely daughters

Johanna is always writing sweet little notes/poems to us and we write back. I found this poem from Dad and thought it was too cute not to post. :)

Summer sunshine and the last of our lovely blooming vitex until next Spring

Grandma Lorry has been working on coloring in Pierre-Auguste Renoir paintings
