Welcome! We are a Christian family who cares for elderly individuals in our home. There are so many quotes, stories, and photos that we wanted to share with our precious "Golden Girls'" families, which they could view quicker and could be updated easier on this blog than we would ever have time (and memory!) to share with them personally. We also thought others might enjoy reading and viewing along with the families on this great adventure of their loved ones' golden sunset years. So sit back, relax, and enjoy your visit with us and "The Grandmas"!

Resurrection Celebration

Our resurrection dinner this year was a wonderful time of thanksgiving and fellowship {with some good food to boot}.  Below are some of the memories we made captured on camera.  Enjoy!

Squeezing a group of fifteen in our little dinner nook... we improvised with the island this time!

Mrs. Robbi, Mr. Tim's lovely wife, brought these delicious deviled eggs {or should we call them angel eggs? ☺}

Mrs. Linda graciously brought her famous Italian Cream Cake which was scrumptious, as always!

Lovely Mrs. "D" with her darling daughter, Mrs. Ellen, and wonderful son-in-love, Mr. John

Mrs. Lorry with her good friend, Mrs. Jean {thank you so much for coming!}

Mrs. Junebug with her amazing daughter {and Mr. Vic was across the table ☺}

The sweet Mr. Tim and Mrs. Robbi {son and daughter-in-love of Grandma "D"}

The ham slicer, slicing the ham

"Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ,

if there is any consolation of love,

if there is any fellowship of the Spirit,

if any affection and compassion,

make my joy complete

by being of the same mind,

maintaining the same love,

united in spirit,

intent on one purpose.

...with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves."

Many thanks to you wonderful folks who made this Resurrection Sunday such a blessing to both your loved ones and ourselves!

I thank my God in all my remembrance of you.
