Johanna is not only our little therapist, humorous clown, & compassionate friend here in our home, but also quite the helper, always wanting to do the "big" things she sees Mama and sisters doing. The other evening she determined to take charge of assisting Gram-Gram in her pudding escapade. The result?...
Ahh...we do so love our Grandmas! Getting up close to dear Helen and drawing out a bold whistle results in her own pucker and blow, followed by a full-body chuckle together. What fun we do have!
Some quotable quotes in Helen's thick southern drawl:
"Hi, honey. Have you seen my little girl (Johanna) anywhere?"
"Hey ya good lookin'. What ya got cookin'?"
"Who's that good lookin' man out there? Come on over here! I wanna have a word with you."
"I'm a good Christian woman."
Say Hi, Helen: "Hi Helen!"

May favorite memory of Helen is of her singing! You should get that posted! =)Love y'all!
Last night, when Helen was in bed, we heard her singing her own made-up tunes and making them to rhyme. One of the stanzas to her song was, "Da-di-da-di-do! I sure love you!"
Many nights it's hard to leave her alone in her room; sometimes I'll lay my head beside her pillow a while, just to be able to listen to those sweet words she speaks and sings!
About recording her songs...they're so spontaneous! We have caught her on video once, but I ought to try recording it from my pc. Great idea, Kimberly!
