We are a Christian, home-school family who takes care of the elderly in our home. There are so many quotes, stories, and photos that we wanted to share with our precious "Golden Girls'" families; which they could view quicker and could be updated easier on this blog than we would ever have time (and memory!) to share with them personally. We also thought others might enjoy reading and viewing along with the families on this great adventure of their loved ones' golden sunset years. So sit back, relax, and enjoy your visit with us and "The Grandmas"!
...A joyful heart makes a cheerful face... ~Proverbs 15:13

To my 'Angels', as I tried to find the words to express what your home means for my mother, I am reminded of the 24th chapter of Joshua. Here is an account of how God blessed Joshua, the children of Israel, and all whom he had delivered out of Egypt, and gave each their inheritance. Joshua 24:31: Israel served the LORD throughout the lifetime of Joshua and of the elders who outlived him and who had experienced everything the LORD had done for Israel. Joshua 24:15: But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD. This is how I see you all live your lives each day -"seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matt 6:33."
Thank you, my angels,for opening
your arms and showing love for my mother and all of your Golden Girls, just as the Lord expects all who believe in him to do. You are all living examples of that love.
Thanks for giving of your time, care, patience, talents, friendship and love so abundantly. My heart is so full of joy and happiness, when I think of how your love and generosity extended far beyond what we ever expected.
The favor of the Lord will go out before you and bless you and your family, for this gift of Abundant Living at your Family Care Home. This was so aptly named. Again, You and Yours will always be blessed and God will show you favor for your unselfish acts of love, kindness and compassion.
A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, .....will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
Thank you - all my angels! I am so very blessed that God led me to your home for my mother. I love your new blog site - it is beautifully done! The pictures of the family are priceless. It gets an A+!
Love & Blessings,
Linda
