When we had that icy weekend where we were snowed-in and had pajama days, Johanna and a few others of us spent some shivering time out in the snow together. Thanks to Vanessa for the photos!

Dad worked on stabilizing our poor little vitex tree which (as you can see) was weighed down by life's burdens.
Around here sleds are hard to come by, so either you use Mom's cookie sheets, a metal garbage can lid OR your carpenter Dad makes an awesome masonite sled ;D

Lots of fun in the snow. We actually got snow here too but it created a traffic nightmare and my husband and two eldest sons got caught in an 11-hour traffic jam. They finally got home by abandoning their cars at 1 a.m. in the morning and walking the rest of way. :(
