Hello there, folks! Hope everyone had a delightful Independence Day celebration! We certainly had a blast and kept busy per usual. Here are some glimpses into our day!
Found this cheesecake recipe online...it was delicious!
We had the priviledge of having the B. family (minus Imelda...missed you!) over for our celebration party. We had hamburgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, baked beans, watermelon, chips, homemade cheesecake and (store-bought :) apple pie. Talk about stuffing ourselves!
Happy 4th, Friends!!
Let the show begin!
What a trooper!
Oooohhhh!!!!
Hello there, Daddy-O!!
Aaaaahhhh!!!!
Super-Dad!
"But what do we mean by the American Revolution? Do we mean the American war? The Revolution was effected before the war commenced. The Revolution was in the minds and hearts of the people; a change in their religious sentiments, of their duties and obligations...This radical change in the principles, opinions, sentiments, and affections of the people was the real American Revolution."
~ John Adams,
letter to H. Niles,
February 13, 1818
"Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained, But happy is he who keeps the law."

Aw how good it is to see pictures of the B's! Please tell them I say hello! The kids have grown up so much! I love your haircut! BTW who won the bet? Love y'all!
K. Rose - the patriotic cheesecake looks delish and it is so beautiful. I know that these are quite an accomplishment to make - you did a beautiful job! What a baker you have turned out to be!! The photos of the fireworks that you were able to print are incredibly clear! You really shot your camera at the right time and they are so clear, too! Great job!
See you Sunday.
