Welcome! We are a Christian family who cares for elderly individuals in our home. There are so many quotes, stories, and photos that we wanted to share with our precious "Golden Girls'" families, which they could view quicker and could be updated easier on this blog than we would ever have time (and memory!) to share with them personally. We also thought others might enjoy reading and viewing along with the families on this great adventure of their loved ones' golden sunset years. So sit back, relax, and enjoy your visit with us and "The Grandmas"!

Alive & Well VII

Can't let that batter go to waste!

Tea parties are a hit around here! This was a (much belated) birthday tea party for Mrs. Linda

Happy birthday! We love you!! xoxo

Mr. Vic agreed to attend the tea party on one condition - there must be chocolate :D

Somehow he was able to wear a non-pink hat

Brownies and salad and tea and African violet flower water... brownies kept Mr. Vic rooted to his seat

Junebug loves her little Abby from the M.s!

Good morning! Waffles and coffee anyone?

The day has finally come, folks...

...goodbye...

...long and wild locks...

...hello...

...shortness, cuteness and tameability!

For our neighbor-friend's seventh birthday, Johanna and Mom put on another tea!

Happy birthday, Evelyn!

The lovely mothers and daughters

Word searches have been great for the Grandmas and Johanna... helps keep their minds sharp and gave Johanna a heads-start in reading!

Johanna and Mom have really got the tea party thing down to perfection. :) And they don't even have to be just for girls, either! So long as there's good food (translated: sweets and chocolate),we can get the men-folk to party along!

Blessings,
Kaitlin
