Welcome! We are a Christian family who cares for elderly individuals in our home. There are so many quotes, stories, and photos that we wanted to share with our precious "Golden Girls'" families, which they could view quicker and could be updated easier on this blog than we would ever have time (and memory!) to share with them personally. We also thought others might enjoy reading and viewing along with the families on this great adventure of their loved ones' golden sunset years. So sit back, relax, and enjoy your visit with us and "The Grandmas"!

vaarwel, januari {goodbye, January}

January was a busy month here and even though we were kept on our toes and having a blast, I'm afraid I don't have a whole lot of photos to show for it! But what we took should bring some smiles to your screen :).

Mrs. Kathi stopped by for a wonderful visit with her Aunt Lorraine

And she brought fun gifts too!

Junebug's kiddos came by as well

And brought a candyland bingo game for us all to have fun with!

Then some of us went to our local dairy farm for a field trip

Ellie Belly :)

Mr. Jonathan is always smilin'

Look out cows, here we come!

The loverly Mrs. Holly with her little gerber baby

Friendlies and the Cow

Margarete did some lovely hair arrangements

Hard at work!

And we attended a lovely homebirth at the end of the month!

Lots of posts on their way: Birthdays and Valentine's Day!

Looks like you all had a blessed, fun January!

Our family has relished the special milk treats from this farm as well. It is fascinating to see how they run a bustling business so near to the city (well, actually in the city.) :)

God bless you all!

Hi Rachel! Yes, it's so nice having the farm so near by. We really need to go there more often!
