Welcome! We are a Christian family who cares for elderly individuals in our home. There are so many quotes, stories, and photos that we wanted to share with our precious "Golden Girls'" families, which they could view quicker and could be updated easier on this blog than we would ever have time (and memory!) to share with them personally. We also thought others might enjoy reading and viewing along with the families on this great adventure of their loved ones' golden sunset years. So sit back, relax, and enjoy your visit with us and "The Grandmas"!

February {Part 4}

Alrighty, folks... so this is the one and final part in our catch-up series from February! Hip-hip-hooray! I can't wait to post all the new things that have been happening around here and to be in the present instead of rewinding the memories and fast-forwarding through to the here and now (at least I'm not going to try and predict the future ☺).

The last part of February (22nd-25th) us girlies were blessed to go with another family down to San Antonio for the annual SAICFF. Since we took the camera, those back at the home-front had to make memories without capturing them. So this will be a fairly quick post, and then...on to March!!

The trip down...loads of books, lots of chatter...
the joys of a road trip with 8!

Pretty mommy and munchkin Jonathan

The silly girls in the back, Ellie and Johanna

The next morning us girls took a tour of the courtyard at the hotel

...and used the self-timer to capture some memories
(I wish I had a pic of the camera, we had it setup on
two Starbucks coffee mugs stacked on top of each other.
The challenge of improvisation : D )

A hotel dog, getting his fair share of petting from sweet girls

Three lovely tourists (well, two are lovely, the other's just plain cute)

Decisions, decisions

The girl behind the lens

On the bridge, looking over the River Walk

Sweetness!

The Three Stooges - Harry, Curly and Moe!

Johanna: "Better be careful, it might still be loaded!"
Ellie: "Okay, let me just make sure."

The wonderful S. family in front of the Alamo

The girls

Vanessa and the snuggly-wuggly, cutesy-patutesy, Jonathan

Jonathan: "Why is my mommy holding another cute little boy? Let me at him!"

All the kiddos...oh wait, Vanessa's there too *grin*

And last of all, the one and only picture we took at the actual festival!

Well folks, I'll be compiling all the goodies from March now! Happy Saturday!

Check out Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 of this series if you've missed them!
