Welcome! We are a Christian family who cares for elderly individuals in our home. There are so many quotes, stories, and photos that we wanted to share with our precious "Golden Girls'" families, which they could view quicker and could be updated easier on this blog than we would ever have time (and memory!) to share with them personally. We also thought others might enjoy reading and viewing along with the families on this great adventure of their loved ones' golden sunset years. So sit back, relax, and enjoy your visit with us and "The Grandmas"!

An Accumulation of Smiles

Puzzles...Puzzles...

Does that one fit?

Ah yes, the lovely napkin hat - you'd better buy them while they last, Fashion News has it that prices will soar when custom designers catch on to the latest style. We're thinking of naming our designer clothing line Pricey Paper Products, or Triple P, or perhaps even Granny's Good Looks. Let us know if you have any other suggestions...we're going to rock the fashion industry!

Master Isaac & the Aerobics Queen

Ma! She won't share!

Encouraging • Interesting • Mind-blowing • Thought-provoking • Hilarious
Conversations with Mr. Peter & Mrs. Angel (not quite sure how you got out of the shot here, Mr. Analytic ☺)

It's war!!! -- that is, tug-o-war over the pencil

And of course Master Austen-buckskin & Lady Johanna-banana bravely storming the Bastille (aka slide)

Big smiles + Tight hugs = Best friends

Birdhouse painting, anyone?

Grandma June...our first contestant!

Swimming Blues (happy, splashy, wet blues, that is!)

She can now touch the bottom and has tossed out the kiddie floaties!

It's barber shop day here and Grandma "D" is sporting the "not-yet-fluffed, rolled-ever-so-tightly" bangs

Grandma Lorry reveals her radiant smile below a fabulous curler-do

Oh! And look who just got her own new style...er, wigs are great don't ya think?

The wonderful hair dresser, Mrs. Paige herself, with the sweet dumplings in tow

Smiles 'n hugs with Nana! (Miss Lindsay was my fellow Locks of Love giver)

The Munchkins give their cheesy (that is, Cheetos) smile

Forget the corn on the cob...I need handles for my hot diggity dog!

One bite and there'll be two hot dogs. Who says you can't effectively teach math at the dinner table, anyhow?

♫...Lean on me, when you're not strong
I'll be your friend, I'll help you carry on...♫

...He will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouting... Job 8:21
