Well, here it is folks...the post I have had on my to-do list for quite some time. Let me say, procrastination was certainly not a key element for causing this to be so long overdue...okay, well perhaps it was an eensy-weensy bit of the element and the rest was all from a lack of time. Anyway, it's here, so please do enjoy!
Christmas Eve we had our traditional Christ's Birth Q&A (which I don't have pictures of) and of course...the birthday party for the King!

NEW YEAR... |
2011!!! |
A New Year
Cold winds blow the ev’ning in
whist’ling at the pane
chimney howls its frigid dirge
drowning out the rain
thoughts drift by with mem’ries fun
dancing ‘round your mind
kith and kin have come and gone
gath’ring times behind
reflect upon the year just past
melting as the snows
gone are opportunities
using those we chose
now it’s time to look ahead
sorting out our plan
say, “Farewell,” to last year’s loss
welc’ming, “Yes, I can!”
frigid winds and rains may keep
chilling days ne’er cease
but a new year now has dawned
bringing with it peace.
Happy January 2011, folks! Until next time...

Loved your poem K. Rose! Great pictures of a truly treasured Christmas Day with our families! All of the Grandma's families are so very blessed to have our precious mothers in your amazing care. May you all be richly rewarded in Heaven for the unwavering kindness, patience, thoughtfulness and unbounding love each of you have shown us and our mothers.
Mrs. Linda
