Welcome! We are a Christian family who cares for elderly individuals in our home. There are so many quotes, stories, and photos that we wanted to share with our precious "Golden Girls'" families, which they could view quicker and could be updated easier on this blog than we would ever have time (and memory!) to share with them personally. We also thought others might enjoy reading and viewing along with the families on this great adventure of their loved ones' golden sunset years. So sit back, relax, and enjoy your visit with us and "The Grandmas"!

A Birthday Celebration...

...For Mom!

October 9th, Mom turned the big *4*7* and we had another multi-day celebration.  Grandpa and Grandma came into town the 8th, so we had a fun day out at the mall (for a Penny's gift card from G&G)...

Our sweet parents

"I love Gamma so much! She lets me put on her lipstick, she gives the *best* gamma hugs, and she's just so sweet!" ~ Johanna Joy

...Then out to TL&C Steakhouse for dinner...
Families are like fudge... mostly sweet with a few nuts. (Author Unknown)

Daddy/Daughter pose

...*L* is for the way you look at me
*O* is for the only one I see
*V* is very, very extraordinary
*E* is even more than anyone that you adore...

...Birthday morning we had omelets for breakfast...

Please don't assume the omelets turned out burnt simply because the foil's covering it :)

...A birthday dinner...

A very messy birthday dinner I should add...
...And the grand finale of dessert (doughnuts and good ol' northerner cider!)...

xoxo Happy Birthday, Mamacita!  You're such a beautiful example to us girls and we just love you so much! xoxo
