Welcome! We are a Christian family who cares for elderly individuals in our home. There are so many quotes, stories, and photos that we wanted to share with our precious "Golden Girls'" families, which they could view quicker and could be updated easier on this blog than we would ever have time (and memory!) to share with them personally. We also thought others might enjoy reading and viewing along with the families on this great adventure of their loved ones' golden sunset years. So sit back, relax, and enjoy your visit with us and "The Grandmas"!

Spring Blossoms

Petals blowing on the breeze,
O how sweet it is to see.
Lovely pink, softly cream
Are the petals on the breeze.
Caress my face, O petals, please,
Fall from the sky and rain on me.
Just close your eyes, be at ease,
They'll sail on by, upon the breeze.
Snow in Spring, they seem to be
As I sit resting beneath the tree.
They dance a waltz unto the breeze,
The wind does sing its song to me.
The petals drift toward my feet,
Still I dance to the song of the breeze.
As the petals blowing free,
I shall keep skipping, just for Thee.

K. Rose - I love your poem - it is so like you. Didn't realize you are such a talented poet. Loved the pictures of the CPR certification training. It is so important for EVERYONE to have this training and knowing that you are keeping up with it gives me great peace of mind. Very cool picture of the "seasons of the house", too.
