Welcome! We are a Christian family who cares for elderly individuals in our home. There are so many quotes, stories, and photos that we wanted to share with our precious "Golden Girls'" families, which they could view quicker and could be updated easier on this blog than we would ever have time (and memory!) to share with them personally. We also thought others might enjoy reading and viewing along with the families on this great adventure of their loved ones' golden sunset years. So sit back, relax, and enjoy your visit with us and "The Grandmas"!

Sugar Cookie Baking with Johanna

Rule #1: Be sure you can reach the stirring bowl

Rule #2: Concentration is the key

Rule #3: Please, don't lick the spoon 'til you're done

Rule #4: An assistant is a must in serving you drinks

Rule #5: Be sure Dad ate a big supper before he digs into the dough

Rule #6: Four hands are better than two

Rule #7: Don't drop the dough when posing for the camera

Rule #8: Apply plenty of flour...in fact, just dump it on

Rule #9: Sisters are supposed to take pictures of cutting out and decorating the cookies; oh well!  Here's the finished product!

So Music Box Dancer was playing whenever I got on...how funny! That reminds me so much of Dave and tempting to dance with Junebug and Helen in the living room! ;)
